Don’t let anything stop you from doing what you’re passionate about. The first step to your future in the industry starts with our enrollment. Here is an overview of the enrollment process at Career Academy of Beauty:

Step 1: Schedule a Tour
We recommend all students take a tour of our school before enrolling. That way you can get a feel for our school and our culture. During your tour, we’ll go over our programs, financial aid options, and more! Our goal is to make sure that we’re the right fit for you.

Step 2: Figure Out Financial Aid
After you’ve gotten a feel for our school, we’ll ask for some additional information. In order to enroll, we require students to fill out an application. If applicable, you will make a financial aid appointment to see what you may qualify for.

Step 3: Complete Admissions Paperwork
Once you’ve got everything done, it’s time to submit your application and get ready for your first day! Talk about if there are additional requirements or things to expect on your first day. Once you’ve got everything done, it’s time to get ready for your first day!

 

Admissions Requirements

  • A State or Government issued I.D.
  • Minimum of 16 years of age
  • Be a citizen or legal resident with a valid TIN/ Social Security number
  • High School Diploma or GED
TRANSFERRING CREDITS

Prior hours may be granted to students with training from licensed Cosmetology schools in California with proper documentation (Proof of Training). The administrator will determine the amount of credit if any, we will accept. Prior hours must be accepted and applied prior to signing an enrollment agreement. We cannot grant hours after you start school. Students will not be charged to use their prior hours.

How Much Does School Cost?

Depending on which program you choose the price of your tuition may vary. By visiting the school you will receive a complete catalog and financial aid information to see the dollar for dollar why CAofB gives you the most for the tuition in Orange County.

How Old Do You Have to Be to Enroll in School?

In the State of California, you must be 16 years old before applying. You must be 17 years old in order to apply for licensure.

What Types of Schedules Do you Offer?

At CAofB, we offer a variety of schedules to help you achieve your goals and keep living your life. We have both full-time and part-time schedules. Plus, our part-time schedules have day and night classes. This way, we hope to make attending cosmetology school a little easier.

Absolutely. Our goal is to make sure that all graduates find the career that best suits them. We provide current listings of available positions within salons, spas and other beauty employers that are looking to recruit CAofB students.
